If dog is not satisfied with the result he is unlikely to do it again. But if dog attempts to do it again and he does not like doing that, the probability that he will do it again is very little. Thus, acquired reflexes develop in the dog and if using them you may make your dog do what you want and avoid undesirable behavior. The difficulty is that the result of some action is not always the same. In this case a desirable action does not become a reflex one. Dog thinks that if it is possible to enjoy some action after all he should try to do it over and over again. Generally, males have some advantage over females as guard dogs, of course.
