Nevertheless some dog breeds are considered to be forbidden. In 1991 Great Britain launched the campaign against breeding, sale, exchange of Pit Bulls. But shortly before that happening other 3 fighting dog breeds were acclaimed the outlaws. But it has nothing to do with true state of things. It is not necessarily that every representative of the breeds under ban is dangerous. Majority of dog-fanciers concern themselves with this prevailing tendency. They are afraid of other dog breeds such as Rottweiler, Dobermans, German Shepherds to be the next. If claiming that each dog breed from above-listed ones constitutes a threat then just as well you can declare that a person of any nationality is hazardous. If we start breeding these special dogs with all due control and care at that dog owner will meet his engagements in respect of his dog including necessary training and education-very soon such a problem will be non-typical. It is difficult to imagine that some dog can be a lethal weapon. But the legislation of USA (state California) contains the provision where a dog is regarded as a potentially lethal weapon if: (extraction from the quotation) a dog is trained to make a dead set on a man at the word of an owner’s command then this dog answers this definition.
