Before bringing a puppy home you must learn how to deal with it. When your puppy’s
age is just 7 weeks-4 months old you should do the following: 1. Provide necessary safety for it; care for it
maximally-have him clean always. 2. Never visit public places if taking it along. When being in parks, in
walking/training grounds, etc. it is quite probable to be infected with dangerous diseases though the contact
with other dogs. The places where adult dogs were are also unsafe. 3. All the objects the puppy plays with must
be secure; if there are any dangerous ones you must keep them away from the dog. Little puppy is the same as
little kid and requires a lot of attention, love and care. 4. Gradually familiarize the puppy with everything
that will be present in its life afterwards, i.e. birds, other pets, children, etc. (the earlier you do this the
better for the puppy, consequently do not put such an acquaintance on a back burner. 5. Do ask a dog trainer to
visit you and explain how to treat the dog of this age. (lessons should be short-not longer than for 10 minutes
because the puppy is still unable to concentrate on something singular. All its achievements are to be
encouraged.)
